Welcome to TAMMA

This is the home of Amateur Mixed Martial Arts Competition in Texas. The Texas Amateur Mixed Martial Arts Association (TAMMA) was formed as a nonprofit corporation for the purpose of promoting Amateur MMA Competition through out the State of Texas. Check in often to see the upcoming events across Texas.

The Texas Department of License and Regulation, Combative Sports Division (TDLR) recently approved the TAMMA Junior Division Scholastic Level Competition Rules. Currently Athletes begining at age 12 may compete in Striking and Grappling events conducted by TAMMA. For more information please see the Membership section of our site.

Do you have what it takes to compete with the best in Texas? Applications can be found on the membership page. All Amateur competitors must have the affidavit of training signed before your TAMMA Fighter ID will be issued!

To become a TAMMA Recognized Gym may use the online application to speed up processing.

If you wish to keep active as a fighter for the 2008-2009 season you must have current blood tests.
